When creating a great story, it takes alot of effort on the a writer's part. From the begining to the middle, to the end, the effort of the writer must continue as the story continues on it's journey and makes it way to the end.

Solid effort should be given on a writer's part to make sure the story comes alive an the readers swallow every ounce of the words that the writer puts forth.

As a writer writes, it should be as if it were they're last day on earth.

Today, put forth all of your writing effort into your storytelling and rock the story as if it was your last.

RUN YOUR WRITING WORLD!

Run your writing is what all writers should do.

Being the creative force behind your storytelling is hard enough for any writer. However, running your writing world is also hard.

When you run your writing world, you have control over your content in every way imaginable. That includes from the start of the idea to the publishing to the marketing. All of those things are an intricate part of running your world.

As we know, writers have more outlets to express themselves these days. From books, ebooks, blogs, newsletters, e-zines, and just plain old word of mouth. It' how we control those things, that sets us apart from the rest.

Today; be that all around successful writer and control your writing world. Be the force that stands behind your creative content with pride and dignity. Whether your published by book, ebook, blog, tweet, facebook, myspace or some other publishing outlet; have control and run it like you would run your life.

Remember your word is your bond.

ARE YOU SLOWING DOWN YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS?

Creativity is what sets us apart for the next 100 writers. Are you standing in the way of yours?

Think about it as you read further.

Many writers don't realize that actually saying they have writers block, actually gives them writers block.  At that moment you have participated in shutting down all the creative notions that you would of had. It says you have made your own bed, so now you move away from your pen and not write a lick.

When you participate in writers block you keep yourself from thinking, acting, and progressing in your writing. It's not something writers like, but actively participate in.

You have to stay true to your own creative process and keep it moving. When you do this, then it's full speed ahead and writer's block won't be on the brain at all.

Today; stay true, active, creative and positive in your creative process.

Remember, you are the only one who can slow it down.

WOW YOUR READERS!

Wow your reading audience with hidden treasures in your stories. It's something a reader won't forget!

Writing the story can be difficult enough, but incorporating hidden gems in your story, well that's another.

As you are writing your story, think of something like a message, a code, or a riddle to put in the meat of the story. Incorporate it in such a way that you give subtle hints of what it might be. You can also create it as you create the dialogue between your characters. Making the dialogue extra interesting can keep your readers on edge as they keep reading.

Finally, at the end, pose a question or give hints afterwards, to keep them engaged in the book. It will definitely wow them and make them a fan for life.

Today; wow your readers with extras in your story. Taking from the story you have already developed and creating a hidden gem will definitely WOW any reading audience.

MIXING IT UP: The Color Combination In Literature!

The facinating aspect of writing is that; it has no "color" bounds.

As a writer you can write about whatever you want, and that includes different cultures, races and genders. This is the very aspect that makes a writer's work stand out.

Literature isn't bound any ethics or code that says you have to stay in your lane or with your own culture. It teaches us that we can explore and define who we and how we think about others.  Those who master it are more creative in the profession and aren't locked in a box.

Being creative and expressing your thoughts by creating a story or a poem about another culture or gender can open your work up to another audience, and can teach your culture own about others in many ways.

Today; Think about creating a story around a black person (if your white), a white person (if your black), a latino person (if your black or white) to show how diverse you are in storytelling.

Remember, it may be the one thing to set you apart from the rest.

*Writing Tip: To enhance your storytelling about another race or culture, make sure you research the history so that you know things like dialect, food, mannerism etc...

These are the things that create characters and make your storytelling oh so interesting.*

William Faulkner And Mina Loy's Love Child!

(Literary Barie@   www.literarybarbie.blogspot.com) If William Faulkner And Mina Loy gave birth to a poem what would it be like? Do you think it would be poetic or poetically dysfunctional?

We believe it would be both as both poets were very eclectic in nature and bithed amazing poetry by themselves.

Here's what we think their love child would be read like: Here's two poems interwined by two amazing poets with two differient styles.

Get your read on with "Sappics And Gertrude Stein"; now known as "Sappics of Gertrude Stein."

So it is: sleep comes not on my eyelids.
Nor in my eyes, with shaken hair and white
Aloof pale hands, and lips and breasts of iron,
So she beholds me.

And yet though sleep comes not to me, there comes
A vision from the full smooth brow of sleep,
The white Aphrodite moving unbounded

FIND YOUR STORY IDEA IN "YOUR STORY."

Some say it's hard to dig deep to pen a great novel. Some say it's a piece a cake. We say "find your story idea "in your story."

When you dig in the deepest part of you, it allows you to think about what's there.  It sends you on a phenomenal ride into your own story; pieced together with words, sentences, verbs, and interesting experiences, all courtesy of your every day life.

We all know finding something to write about isn't that hard at all. It comes down to thinking and devouring the energy you posses in order to be as creative as you can.

It comes down to you, the writer in every sense of what you have to offer and what it is you want to say.

Today; think about finding your story idea in "your story."

Remember; your story will enhance any fiction you decide to pen now and forever.

WRITING LIKE GOD!

The almighty father above is brilliant, amazing, and shows us how to be, what to be, and to just be.

Taking that all into perspective should truly make us brilliant writers on a path to writing success.  However, it doesn't work that way for all.

The writers that "write like God" are the writers who practice and are driven to get their message out to the world.  They are always working and taking every avenue there is to get their next story complete, packaged and out to their reading audience.  Much like God...who teaches us not to give up, even if we feel like we like we want to.

The beauty of writing like God is that; it gives us a feeling of empowerment, and wits. Doing this enables us to reach down in the deepest part of our soul and believe that we can create and write the best story in that moment.

All in all, it's our natural spiritual sense that nudges us when we want to quit, but it also keeps us grounded and more creative to propell our writing careers to the next level.

Today; write like God and dig deep in your inner writing soul for that spark to create the best story possible.

SPICY LIT NIGHT CAP! POETRY PLAY: "As It Is."

AS IT IS BY: Edith Nesbit

If you and I
Had wings to fly -
Great wings like seagulls' wings -
How would we soar
Above the roar
Of loud unneeded things!

We two would rise
Through changing skies
To blue unclouded space,
And undismayed
And unafraid
Meet the sun face to face.

But wings we know not;
The feathers grow not
To carry us so high;
And low in the gloom
Of a little room
We weep and say good-bye.

TAKING A "QUE" FROM HIP HOP!

The hip hop music genre is very influential and amazing to many all over the world.

So many that partake in this way of music are natural poets that can express themselves in ways the "great ones" could only dream of in their day.

As writers in American society we have many influences that can take our storytelling to the next level.

Hip Hop is one of them.

When you listen to the lyrics of Jay Z, Sean XLG Mitchell, Tupac, and the Notorious BIG; you hear hurt, pain, happiness, saddness, and love all in the same line.

We as writers can take those words and turn them into an amazing story that brings all of those things to life in more ways than one.

The influence from this music genre on writers is great! It teaches us (contray to it's critics) that we all feel, and see some of the same things.  It gives us enthusiam and true grit that we can put in a story without feeling ashamed.

Today; listen and take a writing que from hip hop music.  It's music, and poetry brought to life by amazing people who has lived and are still are living in American Lit!
