James Baldwin was an American writer who had trials and tribulations, but found his way through the world of words. Russell Simmons had the same trials and tribulations, but found his way through music and the power of the mind.
These two men are men of power. They are men of great intellect and more than anything, men of substance.
"Be Powerful Be Heard" is a law in Russell Simmon's book "Do You." Which explains transitioning into getting your mind, body and message right to be able to deliver it to others. It also takes you on a journey of preparation and thought to proceed in the right direction in order to be heard and more than anything to be powerful.
"World of Words" is written about James Baldwin. Baldwin ran into complications back in the day as racism was running rampart and so-called winning. Baldwin wasn't about to take that sitting down. He clearly wasn't having it as he believed blacks had the right to be heard and powerful. This took him on a journey of trouble, conflict, and words. Then came an unexpected meet and greet with best selling author Richard Wright. From that point forward he started writing and perfecting his craft by writing a novel, book reviews and then "Giovanni's Room." As the story goes about Baldwin who was ever so flamboyant, and openly gay, he never gave up. He used his voice to be powerful and with that many people heard him.
These two men have a great deal in common. They are master's of their craft but more importantly they embody a true message. A message of being powerful isn't about material items or where you live, it's about using your mind in the highest and greatest way to create a better view for yourself and for others.
As we think about today's society and all the rhetoric and craziness that's bestowed upon us, we also have to think about how we can use our power just like Russell Simmons and James Baldwin did in his day.
In order to have true power like these two men, you have to leap deep within to find the true being within who you are. Russell Simmons found his through music, culture, and love. James Baldwin found his through literature, writing, fighting for his life and love. What's the common denominator; "love." With love comes true passion for all things life, and that set's the stage for true power within you.

WRITING SEXY STORIES!
The art of wrting sexy stories can be tricky, but can be done in a professional and fun way.
First, you have to decide if it's the type of story you want to create and produce fully.
Second; getting yourself in the mindset of story is key. Everything from the characters, the names, what they look like, what they act like, what they sound like, how their body parts look, where the trist may take place, if there are birds singing or a wolf howling in the background, how they move when their making love, how they kiss, and finally to how the story may end or not end is important.
Third, as you put all of that together, think about your wording and how you put your sentences together to make the story come a live. Think about your description of many things in your sexy story, because it makes all the difference to your reader.
Finally, don't forget to have fun and be adventurous when creating your sexy story.
Remember, when you have fun writing it, your potential readers will have fun reading it.

IMPROVING YOUR LITERARY PALETTE!
Your literary palette is what gives you that flare for certain books and determines if what your reading is good or not good.

ROCKING OUT YOUR LIT!
So much goes into writing each and everytime you decide to pick up your pen. It can be a long boring process or a fun creative process depending on how your creative spirit comes out.
Rocking out your lit is a technique that we have develped to help writers have fun when writing. It's a technique that can make the process of your writing go smoothly and help your creativity explode into a story tree!
All you need is your pen, paper (no computer), your favorite tunes and nice area to work. Before you start to write, listen to your favorite song and listen to the words in the song. Now write six words down on your paper as well as still listening to your favorite song. After the song goes off, take a look at all the words you have written down on your paper. Take those words and think about other words that are related or that may rhyme with that word. Now build your story tree from those six main words. After you have done that, then look at it and create a short story from one of those six story trees or all six.
Read the story back and think about how you can take parts of those six short stories and mesh them into your main novel or develop a totally new novel from the "story tree techniqe."
Today use this technique to overcome your so-called writer's block, boredom or just use it as you take a break from writing that great novel.

BRING THE LITERARY DRAMA!
Drama o-literary-rama! That's what comes to mind when I think of a great sexy thriller.
Bringing the drama to a story has to begin with the kinds of words you use as well as how well your characters are built. If your story is steamy, sexy and thrilling, then your words have to be sexual, dramatic and meaningful in order to bring the story to life.
Drama can be anything, or within any character. If it's a sexy bold scene in the story, then having the dramatics amped up to the tenth power is necessary. Having drama be the heart of the story isn't by any means a bad thing.
How well and how hard you bring the literary drama is solely up to you the writer. One thing about it, don't be afraid to take risk in using words that ooze sex or drama. Don't be afraid to take your writing to the next level as well as your thoughts.
