THE WRITING IS ON THE WALL!

Creativity

Magic

Poetry

Reading

Writing

Drafting

Editing

Learning

These are all words that are on most writer's wall when they begin the first stages of creativity.

Being creative takes gut, effort, drive, and a love for the written word.

Words speak volume when they are thought out, excersised, and put to work by a creative force.  They can bring to life a story that a reader, even living in the most remote of places, can understand, love, find passion in, and want more of.

When you look at the your words on your writing wall, what do they say?  What do say about your creative scale and the drive behind it?  What do you want them to say in your creative literary works?

All in all; it comes down to you the writer and the words that are on your wall. Those words can take on a literary trip of lifetime. Spawning a great story for many readers to enjoy and pass on to the next.

Take the time to look at your words on your writing wall.

Poetically Speaking: *THE MANIAC IN THE PINHOLE*

(D.H.L.C@ http://www.literarydiva09.blogspot.com/)
THOUGHT PROVOKING LIT!

*The Maniac In The Pinhole*

Why the hell is this always happening! Every time I try to get my ass out there and get shit done; I fall flat on my face!

I’m done! I’m just done!

Pushing, opening, and doing shit the right way is me. Yes, the maniac; in my god damn pinhole is me. Shit just aint right cause my pinhole ain’t getting any bigger!

I feel it. I can taste it, but can’t see it.

Life, dreams, and my whole existence seems to walk in front of my face, waving a beauty queen see ya!

I stand still only to be encased in my pinhole with the walls closing in on me more an more. The worse is here as time has moved but my pinhole hasn’t.

Trapped in the confines of evil and screams; telling me “I ain’t nothing!”

I can’t breathe as silence rears it’s ugliness only to murder me and keep me locked down only to self destruct in the crevices of my pinhole.

Maniac going psychotic, going irate, and about to burst into a million little pieces!

The feelings of why, who, what , and how have me marked for life as my pinhole closes and I fight to stay alive.

I bleed in silence, and it trickles down slowly to a nonchalant beat of “I got you bitch” and my layers peel away slowly, only to have flesh exposed to rot.

As I see the scene; it’s un-believable as I have seen this movie before! The Hollywood block buster of the maniac in the pinhole.

TAKE INSPIRATION FROM LOVE!

Love can be funny, jilting, happy, hateful, and romantic.

Most of us when in love find ourselves peeling back the layers of ourselves and the person we are with to understand this ever changing emotion.  It's one of the hardest thing some of us will ever experience in our lives.

As you begin to create a story, taking inspiration from love will always do the trick.  You can spin it any way you want; taking most parts from your own experiences as well as other individual's experiences.

Diving into this emotion requires heighten senses and long hard thought. Think about what it was like for you to be in love as well as for your partner. Go deep and look inside even if your still dealing with some issues. It not only can be great therapy but it can also take your story to the next level.  As you do this, your story will have the twist and turns and strong characters that you want.  Your story will come alive in every scene, character and most of all in every word you write.

The benefits of taking inspiration from love is that, you have access to alot of material, such as, your own experiences and the experiences of others, as well as generic themes throughout time.

All in all, inspiration is all around us in more ways than one. Love just happens to be that inspiration (good or bad) that most of us has experienced.

Take your que from Love and write a story that all of us can't wait to read.

Happy Writing!

SPICY LIT NIGHT CAP! WORD PLAY: Cherry!

When I think of this word I instantly think red, vibrant, youthful, sex, virgin, and sweet.

In your writing, this word can be played up in many ways.  For instance, if your writing about a yummy recipe that's filled with sweetness or great flavor or even how you describe a young girl who is a virgin in your story.  You can play this word up or down in great ways and get different responses from your readers.

This is also a word that can entice your readers into your story because you can keep it steady or be over the top with how you use it.  In poetics, when you use the word cherry it has a sense of vividness and anonymity because in one instance your talking about how vibrant and amazing something is, and then in another instance your referring to a sensual soft subtle moment that involved the cooing effect of a great moment that took your breath away in a manner that exploded with riveting sweet flavor.

All in all, when using this word you can keep it steady or take it to the next level. Words like this don't have to be boring in a story.  Remember, the vividness of the word is there, it's up to you to use your imagination and create something that can explode with riveting effects of wildness.

POETICALLY SPEAKING: The Wise By Countee Cullen

THE WISE

Dead men are wisest, for they know
How far the roots of flowers go,
How long a seed must rot to grow.

Dead men alone bear frost and rain
On throbless heart and heatless brain,
And feel no stir of joy or pain.

Dead men alone are satiate;
They sleep and dream and have no weight,
To curb their rest, of love or hate.

Strange, men should flee their company,
Or think me strange who long to be
Wrapped in their cool immunity.

Written by Countée Cullen (1903-1946)

*We love the poetic genius like Cullen.  He's one that was truly in love with his words*

POETICALLY SPEAKING!

(DHLC-www.literarydiva09.blogspot.com)

As I flick my cigarette, I realize this is a bad habit. It seems to like me and I love it- as it calms me and take my mind to another disgusting level.

Ignoring the affects of this madness I flick my cigarette and digress.

Time is grinding on me as my thoughts exceed my will power and I fall into a jaded misfortune of a crushing dirty moment.

Ignoring the affects of this madness I flick my cigarette and digress.

Peeling the layers back of juiced up chaos is like fire on my skin burning through me one sweat gland at a time. My eyes are eroding as I cannot see but just feel the moments of opportunity ripping from my flesh.

Ignoring the affects of this madness I flick my cigarette and digress.

Fighting the fear of life and sadistic mummified entrapment has me bowing down to the queen of evil as my spirit is about to be beheaded.

Ignoring the affects of this madness I flick my cigarette and digress.

Peeping toms pry into my flesh as time has moved but I’m standing still only to be encased in life’s solitary confinement. My mind says raise the roof but my soul says shut this bitch down!

Ignoring the affects of this madness I flick my cigarette and digress.

My notorious ego has found its match as life is a bitch with a bad attitude. A feeling of embattlement is all in the flick of my cigarette as I digress and flick for the last time.

THE BATTLE FOR CREATIVITY

Creativity is something very special that most of us are blessed with.

We as individuals have the right to exercise it in many forms, forums, fashions and passions.

Having the right to use and pursue our own creativity is sometimes a battle.  Sometimes it's a battle within, but at times it can a battle in society.  The fight can be devastating, but we end up doing what we want to certain degree.

As you all know, when we are creative we inspire, motivate, and fuel our passion from the deepest parts of our soul.

All in all; creativity is our God give right! It's only battle if you make it a battle.

Be the epic creative person you are soley meant to be!

Poetically Speaking!

*JANE'S PUZZLE HOUSE-Thoughts Psychotically Mutating*

Sitting
Staring
Thoughts overflowing
Turmoil of chaos invading
Murmur, murmur, tears flowing without juice and mind sinking into nonstop aroma.

Cries
Laughing
Thoughts overflowing
Sinking of great flavor into a ravished spirit
Murmur, murmur, lost in a box of sick thoughts of swarming illusions and death grips.

Talking
Walking
Thoughts overflowing
Hardcore thoughts clawing and scratching to dominate
Murmur, murmur- laughing nonstop while my thoughts drool like hot magma and burn the inner parts of my psyche.

Murmur, murmur

Murmur, murmur

Laughing psychotically
Eating scents of horror
Tasting instant grips of rotten mind hoarding
Arms folded as I rock back and forth
No way out

Isolated
Murmur
Isolated
Murmur

Life solitary confinement is a bitch as it locks down but takes my thoughts on a trip.
